The Man

Tom is Basque.
Tom, Lisa's husband, is from San
Sebastian/Donostia. Having lived in
Ireland for more time than he can
remember, he is glad to be home on
native soil! He is so laid back, he would
fall off a chair, infact let's be honest he
often does.  He tunes in and out of life
with ease.  
Tom supports Biarritz Olympique Rugby
Club.

The Magnificent Trio

Jack is 15 and half years old (he is
insistent about exact age.) He attends
boarding school in Ireland and returns
home every 4/6 weeks. He is a giant
hormone and an Arsenal fanatic.
Luke will be 6 years old in February 2007
and is a complete space cadet and
shall we say, a free spirit. He is blind in
one eye and with his wire framed
glasses, looks remarkably cute!
Junior is 4 years old since January 2007,  
with a difficult health history. His health
brought the family to the Basque. He is
an asthmatic, has strange feet, a hip
displacement, head issues and  
regularly prone to steroid induced
rages! But very lovable!
The boys support both rugby clubs
dependent on which parent is with
them!

Lisa


Lisa is Irish.
Two and half years  ago she and her family  had
to relocate from Ireland(no they are not on the
run!) and moved to Donostia/San Sebastian,
The Basque Country.  
Having spent 18 months on the Spanish side of
the border, they  have  moved to the French
side of the Basque where they have bought a
home.  Now Lisa must negotiate life in French
having just come to terms with Spanish!
Lisa hopes to master the language over the
coming year to a level that allows her to tell her
in-laws exactly when no means no!
She  longs to find the meaning of life or failing
that, the ability to understand the many
wanderings of the men in her life.
Lisa is an avid rugby supporter and supports
Munster.
